Together, we’re levelling the playing field for Bristol’s youth.

Founded by Ellis Genge, England Rugby player and proud Bristolian, The Genge Fund was born out of a deep-rooted love for our city and a passion for giving back to the community that shaped him.

Growing up in Bristol, Ellis experienced firsthand the challenges that many young people face in our city, from limited opportunities to the lure of crime. Driven by a desire to make a difference, he set up The Genge Fund to provide support, resources, and hope for the next generation of Bristolians.

Building brighter futures for Bristol’s next generation.

Bristol is a city of incredible diversity, vibrancy, and potential, but it’s also a place where too many young people fall through the cracks. We believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. The Genge Fund was established to level the playing field, creating opportunities for youth to thrive through education, mentorship, and community engagement.

Ellis has always been more than just a rugby player; he’s a leader both on and off the pitch. Over the years, he’s worked closely with local charities and organisations, lending his time, platform, and resources to causes that uplift the Bristol community. The Genge Fund is the next step in his ongoing commitment to making Bristol a better place for everyone.

We can’t do this alone. Whether you’re a local business looking to partner with us, a volunteer ready to lend a hand, or someone who simply wants to make a difference, we invite you to join us in this journey. Together, we can make Bristol a city where every young person has the chance to succeed.
